"Project Looking Glass" is a thrill ride: Private I in a future where the animals have been "uplifted" (think David Brin's series "The Uplift Wars" meets Raymond Chandler's "The Big Sleep").
I already wrote a review about the book on Libboo!
Mr. Mark Anthony Tierno's story reminds me of Cordwainer Smith, who wrote plenty of "uplifted" species in his short fiction.
Haven't read too many of the contemporary speculative fiction authors doing this. Good to look out for future titles!
Inspiring other artists/writers. Enlightening readers/viewers.
