What I posted to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

My birthplace is now the epicenter of this pandemic, exacerbated by lies, misinformation, and leadership by folks who have no business running a flea circus or ant farm. My current scifi story takes place in the near-future in my original 'hometown' and even at one of the Presbyterian hospitals! Now, with so many of our hospitals overrun by this plague and suffering under the guidance of a presidency that's more regime than administered, I can't, in all good conscience, continue this story for now. I'm a Floridian by choice but still a New Yorker by fate, and I'm hurting for my original state and for this country.
