Can't watch "The Shape of Water" (as much as I want to) until I finish that side project about a young grad student falling in love with her research subject, a mer-man. I wrote most of this story long before even "Avatar" -did some artwork on it, also- and still had people comparing my story to that film. This also happened with the dog historical being compared to a cartoon in the 1990s. Oy, the writing life.
Inspiring other artists/writers. Enlightening readers/viewers.
