In this current political environment, long during the campaign, so many news correspondents, journalists, political analysts and others in the media continue to hearken to science fiction/fantasy/horror, genre media including comic books that actually predicted these events.

Next is references to Alan Moore's controversial but now classic comic "Watchmen". Moore is no longer writing comics and has moved on to other genres, but, the comic that turned the superhero as infallible demigod on its head is now more relevant than ever.
